@buntymunna, no region lock will not come back once removed in the first place even after installing newer firmwares.
@Bonovox, thanks. I have not had much chance to play with the S5 to test Touchwiz. Hopefully we get this Touchwiz version soon on the Note 3

@ skblakee Thank you

.
OS/Firmware updates doesn't effect but what about Factory reset / Hard reset?
So even after doing Factory reset / Hard reset Region Lock wont come back?

As I understand it no it won't come back. Once removed region lock does not come back. Also, I prefer the Snapdragon as there are more ROMs available for it plus it has 4K recording.

I was an iPhone fan before but changed and bought a Samsung note II, I love the note II and can't wait to get a Note III. I heard that the reviews are awesome.

Doh! I was upset that Samsung hadn't released an update to T-Mobile. Of course I check if there was any. Bam and now I'm downloading the first one since February 12th.
Please improved battery life.

McKinley unless T-mobile released another update this week then the update you are downloading came out since last month. I am using a T-Mobile version here. I have got like three updates for the year so far. One was the update to Kitkat, one was some sort of stability update and the last one another brought download booster, Knox II and Kids mode.

Was going to say I find it odd he hasn't had an update in such a long time. I keep a close eye on the Firmware ticker at SamMobile and the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 have been receiving updates, throughout the year, including Network branded handsets.
