Its definitely not as stable as the original GDR3 dev preview release. Still there are a lot of changes to the OS and im glad i had a play about with it for a couple of days. If the battery life had been better i would have stuck with, still as its so easy to restore your original OS, and apparently there are going to be bi-weekly updates i may well flash it again in the near future

Restored both my 1020 and 1520 last night using Nokia Software Recovery tool, took about 3 mins once the firmware was downloaded. The only issue that really bothered me about the preview was the massive heat build up and power usage. Roll on the summer for the Cyan update
Bono forget Nokia Care Suite etc. Just download the Nokia Software Recovery tool, plug in the phone and away you go. It will tell you its going to restore the same firmware as is already on the phone, it wont though because WP 8.1 isn't on the Nokia servers so youll get the latest WP8 firmware. Easiest phone flash ive ever done, and ive done a few over the years

Nope, mine has gone back via special delivery to the Amazon seller. I had a go at him for selling me a Hong Kong variant
He said to me sorry it did come from a UK warehouse but it was supposed to be UK variant & I had no warranty here. He will honour a refund

so you buy a phone from a seller on Amazon at cut price that clearly isn't going to be a UK handset and then complain about that fact that it doesn't have a valid warranty, flash the phone with beta firmware voiding any warranty anyway and then return it to the seller and claim a full refund. That really is taking the piss isn't it 😉
