true, i must have a faulty one then. I mean yesterday I tried and the more I got was like 12 hours. Well, thats with heavy usage, no wifi but 4G all times, whatsapp, facebook, facebook messenger, NewsReader reading for 20 minutes, etc.
I guess is a mix between my heavy usage.
I guess I be better off with a 1520.

and Lemmy31, I meant no disrespect. I'm just frustrated with this phone. First the camera not up to my standards and then the awful battery life.
I tried to use the batery discharger pro app to make a power cycle. I've done it twice and hope the battery will settle.
My other question is which model is your 930. Mine is the one locked to TMOBILE-UK. I was thinking if the battery doesn't get any better with these steps this week, to flash the phone with the CV-UK model firmware (which is the unbranded, unlocked). Somehow I suspect the issue could be related to the firmware.

No 4G - only 3G, no bluetooth, no Wifi, no NFC and battery saver on.
10 mediocre hours.

Well fbloise mine
was the UK CV variant. I say was because I had to take mine back again today. This latest one refused to charge this morning, not by cable or wirelessly. This is the third one I've had to return and im not having another. Its a real shame because I had no battery or camera issues, just lots of other problems !! I have exchanged mine for S5, so I've gone form having 2 WP8 handsets to having 2 Android handsets in a week !! I made a mistake when I sold my 1520 and will go back to that handset at the first opportunity. I really like WP8 and will continue to support the OS but I think my 930 days are over......shame really.

Mines the UK & Ireland sim free version.
Im also running 8.1 developer preview with GDR1 update.
fbloise - You mention no 4G, in the SIM setting's on the phone what is the highest connection speed setting actually set to?
Maybe the phone is trying to find a 4G signal that isn't there & draining the battery faster OR it's not set for 4G.

Is set to 3G. I set it that way to save some battery. I will try to flash it with the CV UK firmware variant tonight and see how it goes.
Lemmy31:
Sorry to hear that. I keep thinking the same thing, why I didnt get a 1520 instead, but then remembered it was because of the size. At least the battery life on that one was superb (I tested one I got from Nokia Connect in February).

Yeah the 1520's size is an issue for some, but I'd had one since February so ill be used to it. I just wish I'd never sold it now. We live and learn ! The 930 is a great phone and had I not had so many issues I would still be using one.
I hope you get your battery issues sorted fella
