I did a quick analysis of these photos in this thread when the article came out and yes there is too much noise, which is a shame. In addition the shutter speed in some photos is too short when compared to the S6 and G4. Seems the sony software prefers to up the ISO and not the shutter speed in order to get more light in. The others are helped by their OIS and can increase the amount of light by making the shutter speed longer and using a lower ISO as well to reduce noise.

Still it is not an entire loss for sony, in the photo where ISO and shutter speed were very close to identical, the Z5 can hold it's own against the rest.

But the noise, this is still a major issue sony needs to solve.

OIS has nothing to do with anyting, only reduce shaking the handset, Sony allready mention it and that's why sony has their own software based.

You OIS freaks need to relax instead trolling here how bad the cam is.
