Good to hear that battery life & the display is an improvement over the Z5. The battery on my Z5 has worsened over the last few weeks, though I am a very heavy user. Another reason why I'm buying the XZ. 6th October can't come quick enough.

My Z5 last a day with medium use.

Its a flip case without Magnet close system on it, so if the phone drop the case will open and get damage.

From my experience it is the opposite...
My Z3 Compact has a flip cover with no magnet from day one and it served it very well ... I dropped it at least 3 times and still do not have even one scratch..
But about this one ..... it has a magnet ... just tried it...down on the right the square that hosts NFC has also a magnet

That was actually a fairly unbiased review by GSMarena. Not bad at all.

XZ looks like a great device overall. I'm hoping I can produce better results than what GSMArena could with the camera, but we shall see. I'm not too concerned since I have an dSLR if I want perfect photos. Interesting what they said about the 4K video vs 1080p. the benchmark results are just that, benchmarks. But it seems to do well in some areas.

One thing that is a bit disappointing is the volume of the speakers. I don't use my speakers for movies or anything like that, but when I'm in a crowded area and my phone rings, I want to be able to hear it. Sometimes the vibration just isn't strong enough. One or the other needs to be good enough for those situations.

Looking forward to getting my XZ though.

Everyone talking about the headset and how great it is is definitely making me wonder if I really should sell it. Currently goes for $150 on Amazon here in the states. I could probably sell it for $125, which would bring the final cost of my XZ down to $500, which is a steal for a flagship sony. decisions decisions..
