@dumbo, please come on man. We all know now that the story was true since saturday when people began to go into their local shops and ask. Read this tread and you would have found out before posting a stupid thing. Sure all the networks have now txt everyone aswell, and there is a notice on the :se: website. Today is friday, its been a week now since the first report

I phoned up on....Monday when I got a text from O2. They guy @ the other end said i would have have new charger sent to me win 24 hours. I thuoght fair play.
It is now Friday, my phone is about to die and I still have no charger. I filled in the form online this time! So hopefully I will actually get one!!!

Right, i am on orange, but I have had no text from them nor any phone calls warning me about my charger. I have had a look on the charger and it is made in chinia by salacamp or something very similar to that word. Is my charger effected? I'm geussing not wiht not recieving any texts about it but I'd just like to make sure.

Thanx, is the t610 and other SE fones back in the shops now, I had a look on the orange shop where I got my t610 from and its out of stock but I suppose that could just be due to high demand. But I have seen the t610 on display in shops. I hate to see this charger thing having a bad impact on SE, its about time nokia got some good competition because their fones are awful these days, they all look the same and the new ones I can see parts of old fones in. The 7250 i think it is, yes its got a more uptodate style but I can still see the 3210 in it. At least SE fones are completly individual and I'd hate to see this charger thing slowing down thier sales.

i have just got an email from sony ericcson telling me that the t610 that o2 have been dispatching are doing the same due to pressure build up or something but they are shipping out new charges in 72 or less and a pre paid envelope to retur your old one in.

ok - so i know this is a very old thread. (over a year since the last post!) but its come to my attention that some people on the forums are still using this charger. there probably isn't as much a problem as SE made out - but they still have a warning on their website:
