i went to the carphone warehouse on wednesday and they advised me to leave the phone with them over night and they would do the upgrade so i have decided to take the phone in today i can not wait to get it back because i am now using a nokia 3210

- anyone know if it's been PROVEN that the MCA-10 camera cant be used as a viewfinder?

I can confirm that the mca-10 doesn't work as a viewfinder with the T68i, I've tried it, I get the same menu as I did with the T68m. But you could always upgrade it to the mca-10 view, then you can see yourself when your taking pictures

I was just wondering if anyone living in the northwest US has had the upgrade. I live near spokane washington and have no idea where I would need to take my phone to get it upgraded. I would take it to the AT&T store but they would probably get confused when I asked.

I just cant upgrade it here coz im too far from the Service points. Im going home this july and will appreciate any help. Where? How Much? What is the latest SW version? any problems with a T68m R1B SW version?

there is an upgrade/flashing/unlocking available in the US. he does it for $25, PM me if you want the contact details of this guy (he's from Howard Chui's forum).

i live in Texas but i do know a guy who does upgrading/flashing and even unlocking. PM me if you want to know his contact details. don't want to post email address or contact numbers here without asking his permission. he charges $35 for unlocking and $25 for upgrading. latest version is T68m = r2E mms capable
