My first mobile was in 1997 when Vodafone was still analogue. It was a Nokia Ringo which could not even send texts. I got it from a store called Tandy

Ericsson EH97, a very stylish analog phone during its time with stereo sound earpiece and 10 caller memory, was a solid performer too, I could drive anywhere in town without getting disconnected in fact, better than any of the digital phones I have today.
Ironically I lost it at a public phone booth after the battery died and I had to make an important phone call

Man that is one ugly phone. I remember the old Ericsson phones with the tiny screens and massive ariels. My first Nokia phone on analogue service was as bad as if you moved just a tiny bit the call would cut off. Nothing changes much on Vodafone since

mine's Sendo S200 dated back 2003 when i was ten years old..
it bricked a year later.. Then i bought my second phone four years later my 1st bricked (darn, that's a long time to wait for a new one).. A Sony Ericsson K700i..
