> Who has their PS2 online?

The old access disk works fine if you already have your account setup. It wouldnt work if you sent someone the disk if you sold the adaptor though, they'd need a new one. A simple case of calling Sony and asking for one though.
Btw, does anyone play Fifa 2005 on PS2 online ?

i have a question about PS2 and i couldnt find the thread... (search for PS2, came up with 1440 results haha)... anyway, if i have wireless controllers for my PS2, do they have to be in plain view of the PS2 to work? or can the PS2 be behind something and all?
is there anyway t get a wireless controller that will work without the PS2 being able to be in plain view?
thanks, and sorry, i didnt knwo where to post this!

Not sure. As far as remember the infra red controlers need to be in line of sight to the console or within a certain angle but must not be blocked by walls etc.

Wireless controllers dont need a line of sight, but they tend not to have very good range, so if you do leave the room a brick wall can stop the signal.
But then, why would you need to leave the room and continue playing a game ? its not like you could see the screen.

And how do you find their range and reliability ?
Im no wirless controller expert, but of the two sets ive owned in the past they were pretty useless.

@etaab
My son put it on pause a few days ago. Walked roughly 30 feet with a wall in between.
He was able to unpause the game from about 30 feet.
That's pretty good.

the reason i was asking about that is i want to put the PS2 under my seat in my truck, and want 2 people to be able to play still withotu the cords, while keeping the ps2 hidden. ya know?

You are not far from where I am. Any Walmart store close to you will carry the NIKO brand of wireless controls.
I bought the set for my kids for $ 34.00 ( That was a steal if you shop around anywhere else). Even the other brands in WM were much more.
I went for another pair a week ago and they are gone. They went quick. You may be able to find them.
I bought mine in the Orange City WM. You can try Sanford or Casselberry.
