About suzumiya haruhi no yuutsu, they say the first one is better, 2006 vrs than 2009, its about what your saying, dejavu, so i didn't download it yet, instead i'll download School Rumble 1st thru the link i gave.
and back to topic, i don't want to use formal way when chatting with friends it would be kind of wierd

@Cyborg_a0, you're right, "nan da" is the informal (sometimes considered impolite) form of "nani desu ka". IMHO, it is safer to use formal sentences in a public forum specially when you are talking with people of unknown age/gender/rank to avoid being misinterpreted as rude.
