If you want delivery reports there’s an excellent guide at
http://xlr8.us/hofo that explains how to customise the Moto V series. I’ve edited the original Orange seems to reactivate delivery reports and to allow the user to reassign all the shortcut keys orange have locked down. I’ve tested them and they work great for me! Hope this helps.

Just sold my V3. Got £300 for it. Was starting to use it less than my other phones (P900, S700, D500) so did'nt see much point in holding onto it for much longer.

Sold it on Ebay. He came to collect it earlier on today. Came 100 miles from Merseyside to my house to pick it up cos apparently he ballsed up big time on his daughters christmas present and did'nt want to wait for any cheque to clear so he paid cash
My id was changed a little while ago (about 2 weeks ago) Used to be Staz.

Picked something up at M-R forum that might come in handy: QUOTE:
To enable SMS delivery:
Press menu then 048263* This will bring up the op code menu.
Sms delivery report on, press the following sequence
47 ok
Field 1 50 ok
Field 2 1 ok
Field 3 61 ok
Field 4 1 ok
Field 5 175 ok
To switch off field 5 173 ok
When you enter field 5 you will get a result menu simply press ok and this returns you to the op code menu, then press cancel to return to the normal Moto menu. Switch your phone off and on and you should have delivery reports option in sms. This works on V3, V600, V620 etc etc. Do not try this on a Moto smart phone ie MPx 200, 220 or 300

my V3 has been showing my german SIM card as unregistered for the last few weekends in UK but works fine again when I get back to Germany. Its always worked fine everywhere before
not today its playing up worse and now for my german and australian sim cards it says "unregistered SIM" and for my uk vodafone card it shows vodafone UK but I cannot make or receive calls and vodafone network techo's say it all looks ok from their end
these sim cards all work as normal in my JAM and other phones I have
bit strange so I'll have to call Moto on monday I guess
