Does TomTom need to be install on memory stick duo via vard reader?

I did this by the dongle but TomTom didn't work. When I clicked on either TTMOBILE nor TTNAVCONTACTS, it says "not found"

Any ideas??

No you can do it via the usb cradle or other sync but you need to have a decent file manage (like Sman) to move the folders and files about to the right places

You need to use a card reader. Using a BT dongle is not possible. The folders needed for TomTom need to be placed in the correct MSSEMC
folder.

You do NOT need a card reader. I installed it myself and I don't have a card reader. However it does take AGES to transer.

You just need to put the files and folders in the right places using Sman's file manager function. I zipped up the whole MSSEMC folder, tranferred it, unzipped it and then moved the files. Works perfectly.

When you say it "doesn't work" - what exactly happens?

I put most of it in the card's root (D: in my case) - ie not in the MSSEMC folder. In thecard's root I have: the map folder (whose name must end in map for it to be found, or so it appears), licences, tomtom, voices, itn, tmp. In d:\system\apps I have TTMOBILE and TTNAVCONTACTS folder

I only have TTMOBILE on my main menu. I transfered by dongle and moved the files as instructed in installation cd.

I just copied all the relevant folders onto memory stick and then created system/ apps folders by sman.

In there, I have system/apps/ TTMOBILE and TTNAVCONTACTS folder copied to it.

However, the last TTMOBILE.APP can't be copy/ rewrite onto system/ apps/ ttmobile

When I try to click on TTMOBILE, it says "not found"
Any ideas??
