I think most will use binning to 16 or 20MP.
One or two may choose downsampling.

Maybe they were just showing nr capability, not the final image. But the girl's portrait is straight out blurrier.

it's hard to compare detail levels with youtube, it compresses video a lot and different phone screens can make an effect also.
but 4x more sensivity then xz3, a little exaggerated to me.

They just forgot to mention that with different sensor size the crop factor changes to.
Smaller sensor needs bigger aperture to grab same light amount.
They are very smart, they compare against XZ3.
Why not XZ2 Premium?
No way 1/2.6" + f1.6 lets more light in than 1/2.3" + f1.8

Reviews of the midrange 10 and 10 Plus have been poor, its clear that many compromises were made resulting in two phones that won't sell at all. S10 pre orders are great because Sony isn't available so I see this being another poor sales year.
I saw some details and drawings for the planned IFA devices and thought 'f**k this bull***t'. JUST MAKE 1 BIG PREMIUM, 1 NORMAL SIZE AND 1 GENUINELY COMPACT - ALL HIGH END AND CALL IT A YEAR. Not one person will buy the 'midrange Compact' without the 855.

I was expecting lower score.
Kinda weird because both are different on the inside, Plus does everything better.
Similar score of last year.
They gave much lower score to Samsung A 2018 series.
Not fair these rumors of 10+ in Japan with better cpu.
