if ur units came from authorized distributors and the warranty seals are not tampered with, then warranty will be honored as long as it falls under the warranty period of 1 yr. basis will be the manufactured date or the official receipt.

no updates for motorola units as of now. software is pretty stable.

we have mineral gray faceplate but there are still no info yet regarding the adriatic blue. will keep u posted if we manage to get hold of the adriatic blue faceplates.

not yet, as of now, we think the new update is to correct bugs.

FYI....R8A software version is already available since early APRIL, but this version is only available for the t68i model and it is still in its testing stages. In short, this version is not officially released by SE.
as of now, we think, there are only minimal changes in this new version.
