Yep, hope (and expect) you're right about the panels.
On the OT, I've not seen the videos but have read the news, definitely looking good - tbh I'm already in no great hurry to trade up, the Tytn II is a great all-round device and it may well be about to get better

I would prefer Se does provide its solution to messaging, contacts, calender etc. I guess the main reason is marketing from Se's point of view. But for us, Wm isn't easy to use without a stylus, its not pretty to look at and doesn't have some useful features like a recent list, etc.
Not saying that the X1 will have these new features and ease but that could be the only aim. Unfortunately, we know that Se's panels won't be particularly useful not the ones I've seen.
Personally, I would be happy with a text messaging panel that makes it possible to send a text single handedly with a on screen keypad, recent list and as few presses as possible. A more interactive MSN one and a decent finger friendly homescreen.
Se might be happy telling us the time in 10 different ways with 10 different panels though.

Once you are logged in (near the top left of any page), you should be able to hit reply at the bottom of any post or page to enter your own post. It's pretty much like any forum just maybe not as clearly laid out
