Yeah they cut 2 days off because they were "impressed" with how well we were doing
Looks like the announcement will be in the next day considering 10 days or so got chopped off since yesterday, maybe even finished by the time I wake up.
Based on all this talk of colourful, I honestly thing it will be a cheap phone, but I wouldn't be surprised if it got followed up on the 20 June by the more expensive models.

I don't see the sense in Sony announcing a low end device(s) after a build up like this. After all, it is coming straight from their facebook!
They already have a large number of fans following this (large considering the countdown started only recently). Since it is facebook, where the ability to share/invite things/people is SO easy (the campaign page is clearly stating to share it with friends), and enables news/info to spread so quick, again, I think it'd be silly for Sony to announce something low end! I mean, if it is a cheap phone, why cause a fuss? They'd look stupid!!

I think the two days were cut in case the clicking lowed down and they were left with the announcement on the weekend, but at this rate they'll not have the official press release written up before the counter closes. I think the public have caught them out a little and now they'l end up with egg of their faces and nothing cool to show.

EDIT: Also..chances are the press release has already been written ready to go, whether or not Mr IT uploads it when the counter gets to 0 or there's a wait as he realises what's going on is to be seen.

I think he was being serious. I still think it is a cheap phone, why would they even make it possible to fast forward if it was a 'powerhouse' of a phone? I think they would want the hype to last longer until they get a huge number of 'hits' than they have now if this was a really high-end phone.
If there's one thing Sony is good at it is hyping things up.
I am thinking of their hype around the last playstation announcement, where they recently announced some software instead of a possible phone.
