I think it means actual size, most company like samsung and others don't list battery in actual size but theatrical one to look better for marketing.
On a lot of sites they say 3200mAh... I hope for this amount!!

Due to.my background I feel Sony, just at the very last part of their presentation showed a bit of poor class. Let me explain.
Using an unreleased track featuring vocals by Michael Jackson - I care less about his later years of skin appearance he's still black - I'd highly doubt his family who now has rights to his music was granted to Sony; but who really knows. MJ has publicly before his untimely demise shown distrust with Sony Music management for his music and caused a legal concern. Now add to this the tradition again of poor taste of a specific middle class taking something born out of a culture of another unfortunate class (break dancers moves innovative, used to choreograph dancers for a theatre production giving back no reward for the blatant inspiration) is just not cool. Heck it could be intentional but it's stupid to be blatantly blind about it.
My sister is a choreographic artist in Dance, worked and did the battle dance for the movie Honey, so I know first hand about this done far too often.
Jazz, Acro, Tap think where they came from, the era they were born in and why!

I probably will get the Z1 Compact or the Z2 since BlackBerry hasn't been doing much beyond the Z30 for me personally. I'm curious to see what this last video represented as a teaser - exclusive video and music release for MJ album, un released video exclusivity to Sony Music Unlimited subscriptions??

Guys I watched the Gadget JM video... c'mon... they say it has the same 5,2" TFT LCD screen as Z1, it has IPS for f**k's sake! (I know IPS has TFT... but it is not the same as Z1...
The sound seems WAY RICHER... even if they used a Lame song to show it...
They said that water proofing is not important and useful... and is a pain in the ass for audio and other aspect of the phone... what?
it says the CPU is the same as Z1, if I understood correctly this is not true...

I'm disappointed by the lack of the 'any pencil/pen' input support, unless I missed it from the press release. That is a real killer feature.
@vivftp The keyboard cover they had before was 3rd party believe and only ever available in Japan, and it looked quite bulky.

the good:
sony fixed at least some of the Z1 cons - IPS display, slimmer design, 4k recording, and maybe more.
added new features - stereo speakers are very nice, noise canceling, 3gb ram can never hurt, etc.
the bad:
Z2 is what Z1 should have been - does that mean that from now on for IFA sony will release a prototype and for MWC sony will release the matured device? it seems like that. Z>Z1= big change but still prototype. Z1>Z2=smaller change but matured device. in a sense, IFA announcement doesn't look so appealing now.
shatter film is still there.
still only 16gb internal.
overall:
looks like a great offer that will be able to stand against its rivals especially if they also improved the camera processing. let's wait for the reviews though.
