I hope they won't be overheating/throttling issues with the new sd 810 and the performance increases. It's not a problem for sony to use 810 because z5 uses 1080p screen so no issues on not using 820

1. I disagree, it is not likely to be another weakness, the cpu should be improved, and anyway, it is not going to make or break the device.
2. Nobody knows for sure if there will be devices with s820 on the market in november. as of now, there are only rumors.

This is very bad indeed... the point is Sony knows they need to go for profit.. and doing these decisions is not profitable.. the phone will be just like any other phone... it won't be a high-end...
Just release it in Nov. or Dec. and leave the next one till mid-year... mid year is a good time for a yearly flaggy I think...

I don't have any info on the panel vendor but I believe it should be from JDI. No OLED though.

aww that's a bummer. How about OIS? AFAIK, Sony skipped OIS because they believe that 2-axis OIS is not that effective. Well, nokia is out of the picture now so they could implement 3-axis ois or Microsoft got the license?
