oh yes when ever i was trying to access google during downtime i was able to view session cookies send by google and other site on ethereal.
with ethereal u trace any thing i hacked lots of yahoo password using it at college.
whenever any was try to use yahoo messenger on shared network i was able to get his/her password coz it send request from messenger>>clientpc>>proxyserver>>yahooserver.
developers r using ethereal to write socket/ protocol/network related application.

@dheeraj
Ok so the requests from pc do get passed on to the respective website even during downtime right . So where do you think Airtel has set the plug to block this trick. And can you tell me the open ports on 100.1.200.99 . If Airtel had set the filter on d basis of browser check, then it should be possible to bypass that using registry tweaks, atleast with firefox. I have been using this trick to get free download slots from megaupload. Or atleast we should be able to browse on pc using a wap emulator . . Tell me ur views on this dude.
And by d way, the trick is down again

no it has nothing to do with browser check. if net on phone is active on ur mobile than download opera mini or any other mobile browser and try to run it on pc using emulator u would be able to open site as opera mini will sent less bit of request.

No its not workin that way. I tried to run opera mini using midp2exe on pc. Since it didn't have native proxy support, i used proxifier along with it. But then i couldn't browse anything. One interesting thing i found while using proxifier is that a lot of bytes are getting received from Airtel server for every request sent . . . About 2 kb for each request. I will use ethereal or my own network packet sniffer tool which i wrote back in 2002 and and try to analyse those bytes tomoro and post the results. I am tooooo sleepy now. Haven't slept d entire night . Will be back later

Please don't discuss any GPRS technical related issues in the public forum. You know what I mean. Use PM. It should be secret.
