Dear Forum Friends
I am from Austria and I just bought K800i 2 days ago in Germany,My K800i is branding free so it means NO BRANDING and I can use with any Sim-card,My K800i has a firmware CXC1250210 ,R1CF001 , 060704, I have german language package,I wanted to make firmware update by SEUS per handy per OTA then I got message says I have already the latest firmware,But I was reading in many german forums they all says mine is not the latest,may be you guys can help me!! which firmware is latest right now by SEUS for K800i without branding for original K800i"s??thank you very much in advance

As always check the first post for the latest release info. R1EJ001 is the latest available by third party sites (Such as Wotan) and R1ED001 is the latest available directly from SEUS.

so R1ED001 is the last firmware by SEUS,when I try per OTA update always I got a message like mine is the latest!why I dont get then R1ED001?I also tryed 1 hour ago to make firmware update via USB kabel,I was in position to keep "C" button then I connected myK800i to USB kabel I was waiting like 5 minutes nothing has happened!please help me ,thank you verymuch in advance

SEUS or FOTA will reject updating your phone because of either one or more of the following reasons:
- a brown phone; it's not for the end-users but developers only
- branded or locked by operator although it seems SIM-free in your case. Some operators allow other SIM-Cards but deep inside, who knows? And not all operators approve R1ED001.
- it has 'bad' flashing history in the past. Some 3rd party flashers like the cracked Setool uses 'universal' CDA no matter which customisation you have. Why don't you post the full f/w version so that we can see what happens with the CDA? My friend's K800i experienced this CDA change too because of cracked-setool. It's likely that it was locked before, then unlocked and flashed by the cracked flasher inappropriately. Something wrong in the CDA as I said before. It has 'different' firmware ID which makes it impossible to be recognised by either SEUS or FOTA.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

The versions from FOTA and SEUS (Via USB as you put it) are the same. The only difference is that you have to pay for the bandwidth you use on your mobile.

thats all what I see under SW info,please help!so does it mean I have cracked phone?original was locked someone unlocked it and debrand it or?I have receipt from the store where I bought K800i ,does it mean I have been cheated or?I have receipt that bought for the garrantie wont be accepted cause mine is a cracked phone holly shit!!please tell me what to do?waiting for help and thank you verymuch to all forum friends

Well, according to topsony.com your CDA 102511/4 belongs to Generic Germany, which is normal. I'm sure your firmware is NOT cracked, then. I don't know what's wrong. I'm just trying to help. Perhaps other expert member?
