Can you tell which photo was taken with flash ????????

increase the EV. make sure your finger doesn't cover the flash.
use auto settings + auto red eye for usual flash.
example:

use Scene: Twilight Portrait + auto red eye for fill flash.
example:

those images taken in the same condition, with different settings of the camera.

here's another example of how strong the flash is:

anyway, k850 produces bad pics in low light condition WITHOUT flash. even worse than k750. but the quality becomes very good when you use the xenon flash. the problem is... not everytime we'd like to capture with xenon flash: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=166042

I've taken almost 1600 photo's with this phone now so I know how to hold it, so thats not part of the problem.

On this photo I set the cam to flash but it didnt.

On this one the flash did fire and came out like this !!

From what I've experienced, it's very good in low light condition, such as here:

but sometimes it produces very poor images, esp in some room with not-so-bright-flourescent lighting. not bad because it's blurry, but bad coz of the color reproduction. It's really off, reddish, purplish, such as here:

k770

both are without flash.

and I really don't know what's wrong. So if you feel that it takes good pics in such a condition too, maybe you can tell me how to take better images. I will be very happy to listen. Cause honestly, I just didn't found the right settings. I've tried many scenes, with many combinations with white balance (except incandescent). Still doesn't work.

Anyway.. lately days are cloudy.
I still must wait to use my k850 in a very good daylight.
However, had managed some other pics:

I think that is really good and very acceptable quality, Luci's Power.

Though I'm still confused what is wrong with my phone anyway.
Is that auto white balance and auto scene?

For a while, maybe I'll just use some flash to resolve the problem.

BTW.. is there any chance that China r1ea003 will be different to (for example) Baltic r1ea003? Just wondering.

Oh and is there anyone suffer the same problem with me?

well i use the 037 firmwire and in don't intend to do a update to the last firmwire.......your phone is ok i mean is nothing wrong with it is just that you have to play with the settings.....if you take this type of low light pictures as i did ,or you did, and you use auto settings you get the same results as you did ....a pic without colours....in this type of low light conditions i use (sometimes) twilight portrait for more vivid colors and change the white balance

before i updated my phone with the current f/w, actually my original f/w was 037. but the pics on such conditions both taken with 003 and 037 is very similar though.

thanks for some suggestions though. really appreciate.
