Well there's already the rumored features right? So the other companies will now try to copy from that.. Maybe during IFA all the features won't be world's first? Just how Samsung's trying to copy Sony's slow mo.. So right now all the other OEMs are vulnerable.. Samsung has just made an okay flagship and htc and lg are waiting.. Right now is the perfect time to come up with a good phone with features which are unheard of.. All eyes would be on sony this MWC.. Everybody knows what Samsung would bring but Sony's is still uncertain.. If they can pull something up, then it would vastly affect sales and maybe they would be back again.. And if it would turn up to be a disappointment, then I am afraid there would be no hope.. Sony would never rise as people would just regard sony as 'meh'.. There are many expectations you know.. The xz premium laid down the foundations for these expectations.. It was a surprise launch with some hella good features.. Hope sony carries on that legacy and surprises us all.. But my hope's diminishing..
That sums it up nicely, go big or go out. Honestly xz2 is pretty much a me too or already late to the party with all the features added from their previous phones. S845, wont be the only one with it, 4gigs ram? Pubg require more than 4gigs ram for higher quality texture. It’s camera is last year story.

Especially all of iOS platform which considering group of player that higher pay in freemium game.

Anyday, I would keep premium to 18 months market lifespan, not to freakin' rush it to market.
Especially with this new design scheme.

I think that many people are simply not used to change. The square design has been present for many years, now it is a different design, and you say that you prefer the previous one.
Some things are not under the control of the consumer, for example the FPS, the most important reason why their change is a patent in the USA.

I also don't know why, everyone goes for round design and Sony boxes design can't call stand out of the rest.
Well, Sony listen to more casual internet users which mean near to nothing in reality,
in hopefully to generate more sales. Let's see if they will reach 25M device shipped when end of FY18 next March.

P. S I love the xz2 family.. New design is good and should be ergonomic.. BUT REALLY WANTED SONY TO TURN PEOPLE'S HEADS WITH THE NEW PREMIUM OR PRO..

Esato forum is eerily quiet today.. Was expecting some major excitement.. But turns out people here are not that excited.. Am I the only one excited.. I have like, checked this forum for the hundredth time.. Waiting for the new phones and the surprise? (though the surprise may just be the design)
