Yeah, security is increased therefore you can no longer downgrade your firmware to v1.5 for running homebrew apps.

As well as PM'ing Rookwise, you can also download the firmware from the official Japanese Sony site here (translated by Bablefish):

Actually might be better to download from the site that jools just posted. MSN only allows 10mb max for attachments. Can only get it down to 12mb using Winrar

Is there anywhere I could upload it too ???

"this is all done in the ram NO FLASH WRITING IS DONE" or something similar

its a shame the size if ram is not big enuff for full size background piks on psp1.50

why would you want to upload it!? all 2.01 does is stops the downgrader from working... (thats why sony released it!) theres not much point in upgrading to v2.01! you loose everything... why did you upgrade?!

yea why??? its nothin speacial or need to upgrade to v20.1, utterly useless... the way to upgrade is when a new feature is added like in v2.0 is the internet browser.. etc... then u got a point of upgrade.. i hope they will have an animated background and the ability to change fonts in future upgrades... Then it will be a better upgrade.

Hello everyone,

I decided im going to buy a PSP for my trip to Australia for entertaionment on the flight etc.

I just wanted to know where is the best place to buy? i really would prefere to go to a high street shop as id rather pay cash and have it in my hand! but if there is a deal thats too good to resist ill take that.

Cheers
