@velman,
I updated my K750 15/09 and got the memorystick bug also. Today I ran the update again (got the message that I already had the latest firmware, but proceeded anyway).
This time I took out the memorystick and changed the phone language to english before I updated, the update went smoothly.
Then I inserted the memorystick and formatted it just in case and changed back the phone language.
I haven't had any problems yet, except that I lost connection when I was copying some MP3's to the phone, but I only needed to disconnect and reconnect the USB cable and all files were still there. Previously some files were gone.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention that I did a settings reset a few days ago, don't know if that have any impact on the memorystick behaviour, as I didn't do any file transfers between the reset and the new update attempt.

I have huge problems with my memory stick after upgrading to R1N035 (W800). Anyone having a solution??? I really need som help here!

Velman
The only thing that works for me is what i posted a while back: When transfering mp3s pop em in the mp3 folder only then disconnect, dont open the media files folder for any reason, all my files stay put if i do it that way, as far as transfering pics, vids etc i have to put em on fone memory and send to external mem when i disconnect, a pain in the neck i know but nothin else works for me, flashing back to R1L would fix this but i prefer everything fixed in R1N over R1L so i guess i'll have to live with it for now lol.

Interesting. Firmware "MR2-B" ??!
I think SE aren't telling us something here. BTW like O2, SE are not talking to me (@ work) at the moment.

@happycheesecake - I wouldnt worry - SE have nothing truthful or useful to say and O2 - well I guess I am nearly half way through the contract and they can p1zz themselves if they think I will stand for this at contract renewal. The phone does not do all that it is sold as.

It seems the memorystick bug is still there
I don't know if it will help to use 'safely remove hardware'
I tried to copy 6 files into the mp3 folder (making 2 new folders also), just 2 files were there when I disconnected the usb cable. Then I successfully copied the 4 remaining files again, using 'safely remove hardware'.

OK, everyone try doing this.
Plug in the phone to the usb,
Open my computer and format (quick, FAT) the memory stick.
Then try, this worked for me.

oh gawd i wont be reflashing then lol. i always use 'safely remove hardware' ive never just unplug so that cud be whats keeping my mp3s there
@ gseth 'quick FAT' is one i didnt try although i used all the other format ways. dont fancy formatting again it took me ages to restore all my files, will wait n see if it works for others first
