So, is your K800i dead now or what? Your R1CF001 is the old f/w. Why don't you update to R1ED001 via SEUS or FOTA? That fixes most troubles..

hi aremaboy!

its not dead. as of this moment. but i do experience those 2 things i mentioned. i dont know if its the f/w or EROM that's causing the problem

@bronxdude
My EROM is always the old R3A011, but after updating via SEUS, I never encounter WSOD any longer..

As always check the first post for the latest release info. R1EJ001 is the latest available by third party sites (Such as Wotan) and R1ED001 is the latest available directly from SEUS.

It is safe to say that R1EJ is a beta firmware that has been make available by Wotanserver?

Just got k800 two days ago and update it today through SEUS to R1ED.

Also anyone know if it matter when you choose the language in the updater? I mean if this SEUS is localized depend on your language selection and will connect to local server near to your location or just 1 SEUS server (with few mirrors) serving the whole world.

I was also thinking lets say as a example there is a one cracked so phone was locked originaly but then unlocked in illegal way so we named it is cracked phone firmware!! if someone tryies a cracked phone to make firmware update by SEUS wont work out then should come message, instead of getting a message like yours is the "Current firmware" should come a message "unknown firmware" or lets say "not-allowed to make firmware update"

My friends K750i has cracked-setool f/w in it. SEUS always says 'no update available. You have the latest firmware installed' and there's only one option to go back to start.
But, with 'intact' SE firmware, it says 'update your phone now' along with customisation file to match your phone. If you want to re-update the phone, like my old K750, it says 'update isn't needed. You have the latest f/w. Continue anyway?'
This 'continue anyway' option is available for genuine SE..

Just follow SEUS instructions carefully, step by step. There are a lot of threads discussing it here. Please, google a little..good luck.

New bug in R1CB001

It is to do with daylight savings in Perth, Western Australia. It won't affect many people I'm sure.

WA just recently passed a law to implement daylight savings in WA.

If I goto time settings and select daylight savings it changes my current time to the correct time (an hour ahead).

BUT, at an unknown period of time later it will revert back to standard time.

I know its not my provider sending me time updates as I have disabled this to troubleshoot the problem. Plus when it has offered time updates, it offerrs the correct time.

I realise if I change the time manually it will probably stay that way...

Someone in WA might be able to confirm this?

Haven't been on Esato for a while. I'm astounded to see that the firmware revision for an unbranded K800i is still R1CB001. Thank goodness for Wotan and other groups like that. Why on earth would SE be withholding the latest firmware to that group of users? You would normally expect the unbranded handset to get the upgrade first.
