My local Orange shop (UK) said the P990 will be here 'in the first half of August'. The sales guy said he had the rep. from SE the week before with a P990 to demonstrate, he then said he would get a more firm date when the rep. comes back next week.
Next door in the O2 shop they said it would be in-store on 15th August...we shall see...

nah, everything is pointing to August now and we should not get any earlier hopes up
that said, August is only a couple of weeks away!

See?! That's what I mean! Having read masseurs post I was just getting warm with the idea of an august release as he seems to be pretty reliable. And right after this spark of hope is hitting me... speculations can be exiting though...

yeah, someone said last Thursday too but I still dont have one so I guess that didnt happen!
every site I am seeing now says August and while possibly a few might escape to freedom before then I still think now that general availabilty will be August
I dont mind being proved wrong though...
