I got my new Laptop yesterday, and thrown in for the good luck of it, My Mrs bought me a 1TB Ext hard drive... I feel rich at the moment, sitting at work with my two laptops in front of me, trying to copy everything from the old to new....

I would like to see both invictus and 2012, but if i have to chose i would rather see invictus...

GUCCI
Interesting thing is, if I'm not mistaken, the Mayans were first to figure that out... Guess we'll find out if we still alive, good thing is that it would have been after 2010

Rhino
Congrats boet,
I could do with a new notebook...

Falcon
Thanks, so far so good, just a few features missing from the normal dumb SE phones. But the transition for you from the 5800 should be smoother...
Got some few quirks though, like: the music doesn't carry on playing after taking a video, but trivial stuff though. I'm sure can be fixed with a simple firmware upgrade...

Just landed in Ape Town an hour ago, and then my Dad had an accident with the Honda Accord we hired right in the Avis car lot, lol, will post pics later, they've given us a new BMW 320i though, as it seems the Honda might have been damaged by who ever used it before. Either way, what a way to start on our way towards Paarl now, going to Boschemeer or somethin like that.By the way saw the stadium as we were about to land, WOW! looks fantastic with Table Mountain and the whole CBD there behind it, couldn't take a pic, phones were off.
Congrats on the lappie Rhino and the TB of mem!
Nice! Falcon you a Weezy fan?
Gola
Hahaha! True that, let me live up until the end of 2010,after that me no care!

lol GUCCI, im guessing your dad is alright, im glad...

all
just got back from watching invictus, cool movie. a must see for everyone-i'll even pay for the tickets so that bafana bafana can watch it. but i doesnt top distric 9 in my books... great acting by our actors, not too sure if matt damon was totally into his character, but not bad with the accent. I still don't think freeman looks like madiba. Noticed a couple of goofs...

fogot to mention: the first 45mins or so was honestly boring with some very long scenes and 'soliliques'-all this changed though...

Taken from The Register: This could get naaasty, LOL:

'Apple responds to Nokia lawsuit, in kind...
My patents are bigger than your patents

Apple has filed a countersuit to Nokia's, alleging that Nokia is infringing its patents rather than the other way round.

In the suit, as reported by All Things Digital, Apple claims Nokia is infringing 13 of Apple's patents. Nokia is only claiming the iPhone infringes 10 - but the number of patents isn't important here, what matters is the amount of money that both companies are prepared to hand over to the lawyers before an agreement is reached.

It will probably will come down to some sort of out-of-court settlement, though not until a few dollars have been spent narrowing down the patents to those that can't be dismissed as obvious or irrelevant.

Nokia's patents are pretty low level: signal quality, creation and encryption of data channels and so forth. We don't have a list of Apple's patents yet but they are likely to be concerned largely with the touch interface to which the iPhone owes much of its success.

Once each company has denied infringing anything, accused each other of wasting the court's time, and handed over inordinate amounts of money to litigation lawyers, they'll decided whose pile of patents is bigger and pass over an undisclosed amount of cash.

But that's a long way off - we're only in the opening salvos of what promises to be an entertaining spectacle for 2010.'

What they need is a consortium of anonymous buyers *hint- SAMD Thread members* to stage a hostile take-over of both brands so that we can knock some heads together and get them to toe the line.
