Considering this is SE's very first A200 platform phone, I'm wondering if similar issues abound on the recently released W890i or should we expect the same to occur on the Z720i or the upcoming W760i?

me toooo! I'll wait to next week and see if they released the new firmware then. Otherwise i will seriously consider taking the phone back and demand my money back all toghether. My claim will simply be that the phone doesn't do what the specs says it will do.

Me too... and well it seems that SE should realize that there are some customers out there that are buying their phones... well at least for now :|
Only three hours left for SE to keep their words thought I still don't understand why they've put a major firmware update on an subnote for an accessory.

Dont unbranded k850s get the Firmware AS released? And the Branded ones get verified by network operator after it is released to the unbranded ones?

but it did not happen in this case. (i.e. i am unbranded on 037 stuck with an older camera driver than the branded phones)
