Back to shi**y JHB tomorrow

im going to move to Cape Town permanently 1day, i love it more and more everytime i come here,best of all no dam taxis! We've been staying at Boschnemeer country golf estate,in Paarl,beautiful and quiet place, only weird thing is that the properties here are owned by a lot of Europeans, so when you greet you're often greeted back with a Scottish, Irish or British accent mostly
Congrats on your Satio falcon!

enjoy it!
Dups!
Nice! Havent seen it yet,gona Google it tomorrow when im back home.

@GUCCI
The M5 is not out yet, I am basing it on the new 2010 5 series which, to me, is the most perfect 5 series ever. Naturally, the M5 will look somewhat similar except the grill and maybe the rear since they tend to change those to differentiate it from the normal 5.
As for Cape Town, I think it is a very beautiful part of this country. If anymore Scottish and Irish people buy property there then it will be a struggle for most of us Mzansi people to hear a word of what they say. Imagine being flanked by an Irish and a Scot as neighbours and trying to have a conversation.
I've known this Scottish guy for over 5 years and I still struggle to make out what he is saying at time.
Eish!.

@ Kryptik:
I hope the family's packed in the thermal undies, boet; we're in the middle of a very cold snap care of a cold front that migrated from Mother Russia... As you can see from these P1i pics, it's literally just started snowing again (this was taken a few minutes ago), so by tomorrow morning, they'll be flying over a particularly pale landscape...:

Who here turns their computers off every night before they go to bed or do you run it 24/7?

@wanqs
That looks extremely cold. I'd spend all my time indoors in that kind of weather. Nice shots too.
Which are the summer months over there?
@Hobbs
I take it you mean desktop? I used to switch it off before I move on to the laptop. When at home I remove my laptop's battery and plug it in to use, that also goes off when I am going to bed.
Did anybody listen to Aino's sound quality? That is one hell of a sound it packs! I dare say it is the best sound I have heard from a phone. The W995i was excellent in sound reproduction but Aino takes it to another level. Truly impressive! Pity about the Satio, it sounds so flat and uninspiring. I doubt the inclusion of the EQ will help much cause it isn't really up to scratch, it is usable but not when compared to the best out there.

I only "Hibernate" my laptop so that it is always within 10 seconds of ready for use...

Thanks for the well wishes guys...unfortunately my excitement was short lived as I was extremely depressed yesterday and just got back from the police station just now....
See i was to sell my 5800 right?well anyway some guy saw the ad in the junkmail, then called me and said he wanted it subject to it being in good condition so i said fine he can collect from my brothers dental practice in jhb since i'm in vereeniging(big mistake!never again!)
The dude rocked up there and pretended to be looking at the phone but swopped it with a dummy phone right under the receptionists nose!then he put the dummy back in the box and said he was going to draw money and will be back well obviously he never pitched up again......when my bro called to say the dude never came back, i told him to check the phone and then he realised it was a con! the dude was very very well spoken black guy in his early twenties and he was well dressed etc so guys becareful.....i just wish i was there he would have never gotten away with that trick on me damn i hate this dude and going to make sure i catch him...break some bones!its not so much about the value it was R2400 but the whole concept of this guy conning innocent people and he's doing it to lots of people as he advertisers phones on the junkmail website.
So as soon as he does again i know his number i'm going to trap him...so far i have a few of my police buddies looking into it...they need court permission before they can track him through the networks so sometime next week only....
eish-lesson learnt: never let anyone else ever do a deal for you! do it yourself and be alert!
