@ brix,
Agree with you regarding the P910 over the 7710. I've always found that the beauty of the P-series,compared to say,an I-Mate JAM or 7710,is that you have the OPTION to use it pretty much like a conventional phone with the attached flip-keypad, without having to resort to the stylus so readily.
I'm not comparing other features, but this uniqueness of the P-series suits me,..there are times when you only have one hand free to call with,or look something up,or sms,or whatever...
Also, when occasionally using public transport in London,I don't have to feel asif I'm impaling the screen or re-calibrate my aim every time there's a bump!LOL!

Yesterday I saw an immaculate 2nd hand P910 for the amazing price of R2800...very tempting indeed as stop-gap until I go 3G next year. This message was posted from a K700i

@Rhino: Your mate might be offering his P910 for that ridiculous price because there's a problem with it. Sony don't make mobile phones, when they tried it almost ended in disaster...that's why they merged with Ericsson. New phones from SE are expected to be announced next month...all indications are we'll see the P1000...don't know about a candybar 3G smartphone a la 6680. We all live in hope. :o) 3310=Student Card, as my pupils say... The one feature my prospective mobile MUST have is a beeeeg screen for my beloved MobiPocket. Symbian would be great, but the ability to read my ebooks takes precedence. @Amawanqa, easy around the bends, that's a wicked ride, mate This message was posted from a Nokia

@Kryptik: I take it you mean a high resolution screen? An example is the Siemen's S65 which has a massive screen but the resolution can't match my precious. This message was posted from a K700i

Exactamundo, Brix. I'm at a party a.t.m, playing around with a buddy's iMate Jam. It's got some good features, altho he doesn't have an ebook reader for me to draw a comparison. This message was posted from a Nokia

Way off topic... While everyone was either at the rugby or watching it with a cold one at hand I was sweating it out on the treadmill. Good to see the Boks get one over the All Blacks...Have to give it up for their improved defensive play.

Brix, i don't watch tv so had to get the action via the radio, but was also impressed with their defense. Even though i'm not much of a rugby oke i'm proud knowing that we beat the All Blacks! This message was posted from a Nokia
