Hi!
I was at thephonehouse in Sweden last week(28) and they said next week(29). I phoned them today and they said no news yet but it really should arrive this week.

Hope this helps. I was there to sign up for the queue list, they've got a full A4 of names!

any of the people with pre-orders at places like Mobile-Gadget heard anything yet?

It's weird that the final mobile-gadgets checkout page where you send the credit card information is unencrypted, everything else up to that point is encrypted. I would not buy from them until they'll fix that hole..

Is that the case when you do C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) also? That is worrisome..

For those that pre-ordered from play.com the P990 will be UKP499 with delivery first August. Sounds too good

The term "retail package" simply refers to the box and contents that a customer/end user receives when purchasing the final, released to retail version of a phone. In the context of the P990i, we can assume this will include some form of hands free/headphones, memory stick adaptor, battery and charger, spare stylus, desk stand and USB cable. Additionally user manuals and software (CD/DVD) appropriate for the intended market will also be included.

From reading this forum it is apparent that some individuals may have acquired prototype or test/evaluation versions of the phone. The retail versions will be the final hardware configuration. In the context of the P990i, there seems to be some question as to the amount of user memory, as the SE website recently changed from 80MB to 60MB.

Of course another factor is that we have all been waiting so long for this phone that were just hoping that SE have improved the spec list! Hopefully the wait is almost over!
