I ve tried many ways of bridging 2 dial ups... but its just not possible. It seems like windows itself has got some restrictions on that. I tried using wingate and midpoint companion. Even though those apps claim to bridge 2 connections, the traffic passes thru one connection only. I heard has33 knows a way of getting this to work by using wingate, but i have no clue on that.

there r some session related problem with free gprs. even i face lots of problem when i try to logon desi-tek.
use http tunnel to access gmail just for once than u would be able to access gmail without any problem.
airtel is giving free gprs with lots of restriction.

wow! finally i got the high speed from yesterday. my phone is Samsung X700(with EDGE) and i am getting 15kbps average speed on downloads. This happens from yesterday. perior to this i get only 6-7kbps. i am in Tn and my city is not EDGE enabled. i think airtel guys make some changes.

Thats good to know airtel is upgrading to edge Wish that happens at my place too. Btw, can u tell me which city u r from in tn.

Guys...I don't check this thread often as I don't mind paying Rs.7/. every day 4 my Mobile office as I download abt a GB between 6:00am & 10.00pm every day & another GB between 10:00pm & 6:00am everyday...Thats right 2GB or more every day.

Well I ve a K-JAM & a W300...both EDGE enabled...brigded them through wingate...get abt 25kB/sec each...also ve 2 TATA WLL walkys, which give free net usage between 10:00pm to 6:00am...so I get a download speed of 50kByte/sec in the day & 82kB/sec in the night, using all the 4 phones brigded through wingate.
Configrating Wingate ain't very difficult...only confusing & the most imp thing is having all the diff dial-ups on diff modems like my K-jam is a FIR wm5 modem, W300 is on :BT: modem, 1 Tata is a LG USB modem & the other Tata is on the Acesstel Serial port modem...it won't work if U ve 2 same modems like 2 Nokia modems.
So whoever is having trouble configering wingate cam PM me their messanger ID & the time they can get online...I perfer netime between 6:00am & 10:00pm.

i'll prefer to use broadband instead of using 4 mobile and telephone to download stuff.
and i'll get data 1 connection with in 2 week

i have installed wingate as server..
now i started wingate vpn ..
i can find my modems there,connected them all..

but only on connection seems to be active plz help
