Not even a yellow triangel when you turn it on? Are you sure you have any battery left?

Nope, no yellow triangle. Battery was on about 95% when I started the update, so it *should* have been okay. I have read on Google that it's possible the battery drained fully during the update, so I've got it plugged into the charger at the moment, and will try again in the morning to turn it on. It's 00:30 now, and I have to get up at 7

@shanespencer Did you try connecting to the PC in flash mode with SEUS? Also did you try taking the battery out for 30 seconds? A conbination of the 2 might work.

OT: where abouts in China are you? I'm in Beijing, went down to the nearest Suning and saw arc for 5888yuan, went to the market downstairs and managed to haggle to less than 4500yuan but they only had blue (I really want silver) and the package they had didn't have the HDMI cable . I still have a pre-order with expansys but their page has said it'll be 5 days for about a week now and if I can get one in hand downtown then I'll cancel with them.

Probably a silly question but, which HDMI cable to get?

It's no silly question.

Mini-HDMI to standard HDMI, in sweden we got it with the phone. Model: IM820 if you want SE cable. But I guess any Mini-HDMI will do

you don't want mini hdmi you want micro hdmi

Well for those of us waiting to find out the O2 Pay & Go costs the man in the O2 shop in Halifax says that they should get the Arc on 16th May . It's been delayed and delayed prob due to the china desaster. He did tell me P&G phone will be £326 unless that gets changed before release

No luck on either of those, Ricky. The only sign of life I get from the phone is the little green service light which flashes every two seconds. Holding the power button in makes the phone buzz as if it's coming to life but then nothing happens. I'll take it to the service centre today and see what they say. By the way, I'm in Dalian.

@sambouka
thanks. Yea, I think it is a good package all together.

@mallaccra
No. Not LowYat. I got it directly from Sony Erricson in MidValley. I went to sonystyle store (KLCC), the phone was sold out. Even the display unit gone. I went to Maxis roadshow at MidValley and again the phone was sold out. Luckily I got one from SE and they have very limited stock.

@doministry: Have you tried K9-Mail?

Well I have great email app called ProfiMail.
The thing is you have to use Gmail to sync calendar and contacts. And Gmail receives my billing emails from Market. So I don't want to make another Gmail on my device in different app.

I have no fckn idea what to do with it.
Makes me nuts.

And I want to know what about this auto light adjustement. I want it off.

Seems like your transition from WM devices to Android is working out well.
OMG … ProfiMail is available for Android now?! Sweet this app was KING in the Symbian S60 world and for good reason. Have a question … on Android is there an app to RDP to a Windows Machine (possible to remote connect to a Mac OS X machine ??)?

Glad to see the Arc getting some love and also sales - unfortunately SE has one manufacturing plant. Hopefully they learn and make another in a different country.

Yes Android seems like a newer WM.
WP7 is too limited.

ProfiMail works like a charm.
