Wanqs,i would not be suprised hey.
Ya,i smaak that NexusOne to, and i still dig the Hero, which should drop in price nicely 2010 is going to be quite a year mobile/OS wise.
Dups!
I didnt want to discourage you but ya lookwise the BB OS aint so great, especialy when in settings of the phone and settings of apps, its suddenly Black writing and a White background, no matter what theme you use,but the BB experience once you have B.I.S at just R50p/m activated plus FB and Twitterberry you are gona love it. Its a different world lol, what makes BB so great is the convenience of that BIS service, and the battery life is just unbelievably good,my mums 8900 Curve only realy needs a charge after every 2days,but she charges it every night. I see GSMArena got an entire week out of the 9700 though.
Gola
Bro,i had to watch Twilight:New Moon and 2012 twice last month lol, you check just how cliche everything is in 2012? They manage to JUST make it out of every bad situation,

I guess I will get used to its dull UI. Hopefully, like you say, I'll have a great with BIS.

Apparently Samsung is releasing its own Xperia Pureness but in colour. Not necessarily Pureness in that it is high end but in its translucent colour screen which happens to be a touchscreen.

Wow , yet another incredible milestone for Apple:

(taken from GSMArena):

'Apple App Store hits 3 billion downloads in just 18 months

Happy 3 billion downloads to the Apple App Store. Yep, the 100,000 plus applications in the App Store have been downloaded over 3 billion times in just a year and a half. Steve Jobs says it's like nothing they've seen before - well, Mr. Jobs, it's like nothing anyone has seen before.

You wanna hear the scary part? Just over three months ago - September 28 2009 to be exact - Apple announced that there are over 85,000 apps in the App Store and over 2 billion downloads.

On July 14 2009, or just under three months before that, there were "only" 65,000 apps and 1.5 billion downloads. At this rate, they'll probably be announcing over 4.5 billion downloads by late March. One last bit of math - with about 50 million Apple iPhone and iPod touch users worldwide, that comes up to 60 application downloads on average per customer.

To help users sift through the noise of various torchlight and weird sounds applications, Apple included the Genius feature - it recommends apps on the basis of your past downloads. There's even a competitor called Appsaurus, which claims make better recommendations due to its more advanced algorithms.'

Hmmm, like politics business is a dirty game. Would Apple have released that info had Google not announced that phone?

Maybe I'm too much of a conspiracy theorist but I smell something...

SE must be cursed as GUCCI once wrote. The X10 is delayed until March this year. Seemingly it has to do with Qualcomm not clearing the Android OS. With SE anything is possible, could be anything even their incompetence which is more than likely.

This is from the X10 thread, didn't include the link cause the said information, which was translated in that one line by a member, is in Swedish.

If SE is still around by the end of the year and making profits than losses I will give them a a very big hand. Heck, I will even get their flagship Android phone on my next upgrade. I've never seen such a mess of a company!

Hope everyone survived the holidays intact both physically and in the financial department...I just about made it buying presents for family, spending time with friends and making a whole lot of new friends in the process.

Google has had us all salivating since yesterday with the announcement of the Nexus One...but I'm still waiting on the Moto Droid to launch in SA.

That makes a lot of sense lol, Apple want some attention to as for SE, eish. . . . . It just disappoints to see a company with so much potential screw up again and again.
Brix
That Droid/milestone is something, cant wait to see what else Moto have up their sleeve.
