@GUCCI
Exactly! I did actually point out that the phone rendered some pages improperly yesterday but for me it was all about call, text and e-mail first then browsing.
I prefer my laptop for heavy browsing. Their (Blackberry) specialty has always been e-mail and text and they've never pretended to be anything other than that though they try to be.

And theres always Opera Mini5 beta2 if you want pages rendered nicely

as highly functional as the S60 browser is i find myself using Opera Mini or UCWeb if i dont want to be forever Pan&Zooming

Dups!
UCWeb is fantastic if you hate Pan&Zoom web browsing, its also very fast,and unbelievably lite on resources: both RAM and battery, its even lighter than Opera Mini. Im using the new Ucweb7 s60 version right now on my 5800,it still needs work for touchscreen though,but i can live with the bugs as the UCWeb team seem to always listen to its users,and its advantages outweigh the cons.

Ouch! Seems like they don't have for UIQ. Would've loved to try it as it sounds quite good.

I guess the 'unlimited' net was to make the whole deal look better?

most people who buy BlackBerrys dont use the net as heavily as we do on phones, so im sure most would be fine with the browser,but when you start dealing with file sharing sites that require flash,java script and all that like Rapidshare the BB wont be able to handle them properly,but im sure the majority of BB users dont go on such sites, and BB put the browser there just for the casual browse once in a while,if you want more rather install OperaMini.
