To okay:

Disabling any firewall you have running should solve it.

HELP!

Got the updated USB UPDATE drivers, installed the SE disc - got my phone switched on and connected to the USB with the official lead...

But the update java applet just sticks on 'initialising devise please wait'.

I've been at this for 2 hours now... anyone know what is wrong please?

Happens to me all the time. Basically at this point the Java software is comparing your phone's firmware against the current version on the SEUS server. If your USB drivers weren't correctly installed, you would of got a message like "no phone found" before the initialising message.

Try this:
Open task manager
Select processes tab
Find process JAVAW.EXE
Terminate it.
Reboot PC.

Someone posted about it yes, but i dont see the point of it.

I'd rather see the sender name before i accept the file. Silly SE.

Everyone here seems to have found that picture quality increased after upgrading to R1N035. I found that picture quality has actually become completely unacceptable after upgrading from R1L.

I'd like to downgrade back to R1L to see if the firmware really cause the difference in picture quality. Does anyone know how to do that?

Horrible vertical pink and blue lines make image so noisy!!

Night mode makes no difference. This picture was taken in bright sunlight. Indoor pictures are worse.
