is there a way to add the vibrations to the menu like the w810 has?

okay I deleted the operator menu logos, now need to do a master reset I feel to register the xml file

Anyway, so far I have done the following mods:

Custom customize.xml with these fields customised:
initial date
timezone
internet accounts
default account
home page for default account
Enable suppress camera noise "true"
Preset Theme (set to orangeline.thm, and orangeline.thm file copied to \tpa\preset\custom\themes - yet to test that on master reset)

Have tried the halmer cert but it isn't appearing in my certificate store?

Custom Menus
I have used the orange menu icon set from se-nse (the backstreet set) to go with the orangeline theme. It looks awesome. Very W810'ish.

I have modified menu.ml to rename the media player to "walkman", and also to point to the backstreet icons. I have more plans for the menu.ml, example get rid of the play now menu for something custom.

Custom Operator Menu
Half done here. I have deleted the operator logos so that the operator menu (internet services) now displays the backstreet icon and not the optus branded icon. Have also edited the index.html file in \tpa\preset\custom\wap\opmenu\default so that when I press the operator menu it opens up my own html page with links to mobile sites I use often.

Next step is to rename the operator menu (It still says Optus Zoo).

After all that I hope finally be able to somehow remove the optus softkey on the standby screen and set it to the index.html I created for the opmenu.

This program is so cool.

Thanks for the tips all, I used 13.7 as I'd read that it has worked before for someone, but the later version did the trick, and it's a W800 now.

I'm holding off on w800 incase there is a activity menu fix come available...

edit: "play now" GONE! Using this hack you can change it to whatever. I changed "playnow" to Opera Mini. Whoot

In my W800i i cant install JAVA Applications! (x.jar) Anybody too? Where is a W800i complete customize.xml File with certificates? What must i edit at this?

Try this:

*as always, backup your original, also, I am not responsible for bricking your phone*

Navigate to /tpa/preset/custom/

Edit customize.xml

look for the section called

delete the section

you'll have to master reset after this.

Then try to delete the files.

In my unbranded W800 the section doesn't exist.

how did you manage to change your shutdown animation? can we also change tha startup logo? of course we can do that easily with our startup screen. but how bout the startup logo?

can anybody give me some pointers on how to remove that java application file access authorization request prompt thing? I am using some programs (ebook, txt reader, etc) that always prompts me whether I want to access external file or something like that (sometimes, it's like 10 consecutive "yes" before I can gain access, very annoying).

I vaguely know that I need to sign some certificates. But I have no clue how and where to start and how to proceed. I don't even know what certificates are....
