Yep K750 earphone shave no cracking on full volume with Megabass I'm listening to music with it right now. Its not the same as mongoose loaded....small differences to increase volume.
You do not need any W900 files or any such thing....just upload this files

HPB-60(K750's original headphones) are defienitly much better than those HPM-70s.
you can even guess it offhand just with having a look at both of them(HPB-60 is twice bigger than HPM-70)
JUST have a look at pictures here:

KristianM: - That's a hard one to answer. It really comes down to your personal taste and what you are willing to tolerate. The Low Vol R1L is not that much changed from the original driver - I only changed 4 bits. I have done a little more playing around with the guts of the drivers but have not made any worthwhile progress - it really is guess work. Below is my experience of how each version of PHF_2_PLAY performs when added to original R1BC files:
Untouched RIBC: - Hissing/Static - Most noticiable at low vol. Offers best sound quality at max vol. Some songs distort with Megabass at max vol.
R1L: Hissing is gone, Distortion at max settings, terrible MegaBass. Does not match max vol of R1BC. I think it is more tinny as well.
AKSD's 1.2 Beta Driver: Hissing gone, Distortion still present at Max Vol, Megabass still distorts at max vol - may be a tad better than R1L - I really can't tell though.
PHF_2_PLAY Deleted: To me, the same results as using R1L or AKSD's beta Driver
My Low Vol Version of R1L: No Hissing, Max vol probably about the same as R1BC on 6 - 6.5 bars, best MegaBass performance.
My Loud Version of R1BC: This one is LOUD. This offers the loudest volume yet. But, it does not get rid of hissing/static. You will probably have to play around with the EQ and vol to get best sound quality for individual songs.
I hope that sums it up. I'd suggest you make up a small Playlist of songs containing songs you want to play loud and songs that you notice the hissing/static in. Then try each driver against these songs and decide which one you like best. That's what i'm doing.
Thanks for that summary.
A couple more questions, if it's okay:
1. Do these drivers also affect playback of movie files?
2. Do they also affect loudness of the ring tones / message tones?
I'd like to try your modified R1L-drivers, loudness doesn't matter much for me when playing songs because now I don't really like playing songs at max volume with my R1BC002 W800i. But I'm concerned if it'll lower the overall volume for movie files and ring tones as well.
Thanks again.

IMHO... i think your asking for a different file... this one is only intended for MP Playback...
try to look those files on the Acoustic folder using FAR. youll prolly hit one or two files which is intended for your query...
i think someone here told the technique in achieving your query, is like lookin for that specific acoustic file for SMS tones / Movie Playback etc etc... then basically renaming this Play2_PHF wachammacallit to that file then copy back to the acoustic folder... then there you go.. same volume for everyone...
ciao!

KristianM: 1) Yes, with the headphones i think video playback is louder. 2) From my testing there is no impact on ringtone, sms alert, or any other playback throught the loud speaker. This would make sense as I'm pretty sure PHF_2_Play is a Personal Hands Free driver. So, only playback through the headphones will be changed.
I think the loud speaker ring and playback are controlled by a different set of files - at a quick glance, I would guess farfield_ring and Farfield_play. So, if these are the files I guess we may able apply similar changes and get louder speaker playback. If I'm feeling motivated I might play around one night. I don't think the Ring volume needs to be any louder.
