*Message in use bug*
Just to document this issue so its in this thread as a K800i issue as I havent ever had this before on any other SE.....
I recieved a text from O2 about "choose your next month O2 Treat" ring this number etc etc. Anyways, when I tryed to delete the message I had a message saying "Message in use" I could'nt delete it until a handset reboot was done. I then pressed delete and it was deleted.

I am trying to use the SEUS from the sony website but cant get it to work. I get stuck at step 6 where I have to release the 'C' Button. I release it but it goes back to the start button. What is going on? What should I do to get it to work. I am using the USB cable that came with it.

Not sure if this has been discussed anywhere, but I've an issue with .m4a (iTunes AAC) files on my K800.
There's a kind of "limiting effect" that occurs 2 steps from maximum volume level (the last green ball is not lit in the volume bar.)
Basically, at or above this level, the sound gets very "watery". It sounds like something is limiting the volume by chopping off the top parts. Also, going beyond this level doesn't increase the actual volume.
This limiting effect doesn't seem to occur with MP3 files, and definitely doesn't occur with the radio, so it's probably a firmware bug.
I'm a drummer so I might be expected to have bad ears but I've tried the phone with a couple of friends and they all agree the maximum volume with AAC is nowhere near that of any music player they've heard. Also, I listen to the radio at volumes MUCH louder than those when I'm in the Media Player.
Anyone care to confirm this problem?
p.s. My iTunes files are encoded at 80kbps stereo. Using VBR or other bitrates made no difference.

You had the message open elsewhere (or the message alert still open) - I've had this happen too. You just need to check the activities popup and switch to the menu notification.

Using a portrait pic for ur contact pic... The image will be displayed as landscape when tat contact calls or messages... Rather annoying having to see my friend's pic sideways...

rotate the image you want into portrait and then select use as and then select contact and replace exsisting picture,
should now appear in portrait

Sorry for the additional question, but I've tried to look for an answer to this... is it possible to turn off the flash when taking pictures? I have a feeling the answer is no.

@boman1882,
Did that... it appears as portrait in the contact information, but when a msg or call comes in it is in landscape.
