I agree that the Holux BT-321 GPS unit is a great unit, i got mine for £35 off ebay last week and it works first time with my P990, picking up about 9 to 10 satellites. Can't go wrong with the price!

Bought this on ebay some time ago, around 33-34 GBP.
Works perfect and is very sensetive.

Hi, I've installed Tom Tom 6 on my P990 and it works fine. I now want to activate the Traffic via Tom Tom Plus but whenever I try to connect I get the message 'Could not connect to Tom Tom Plus service. Please check the wireless data connection on your mobile phone.' Obviously the Tom Tom is not able to connect via my GPRS but it is definitely working as I can still connect to the web. Has anybody else seen this and been able to find a solution? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response. I am trying to use the Free Trial period for Tom Tom Plus and I do have an account with Tom Tom to do that. The message seemed to suggest more of a problem with the physical connection to the service from my device.

Had a similar issue with mine just yesterday. Further investigation revealed that TomTom was not the issue and in fact no app on my device could connect over GPRS. Looks like it was a corrupt internet/data account as removing all my GPRS accounts and recreating them either manually or via the SE support website has fixed the problem for both TomTom and other apps on my device.
One thing that has got me wondering though is that the first time after the last firmware update I set up my data/internet accounts through the "Internet Wizard" on the device itself - it picked up the correct WAP/Internet and MMS GPRS settings for my operator quickly, but I wonder whether it is a bug somewhere in this which caused the account corruption/problems.
Suggest you try deleting all your internet acocools and recreate them one by one testing each time.
