The only thing we are sure of is that the news as presented in the first post is a fake, because SE hasn't make any official presentation in London yesterday.
But I'm still hoping that this phone is real because specs are very interesting.

Regardless it is true or not, I think SE won't announce anything before new year. It is a bit pointless to announce anything this month since ppl is already in holiday mood and SE won't see much attention it wants.

I really am surprised that some of the more senior (experienced) members in the forum have been so easily sucked in like this.

Which is exactly what you did in your previous sentence...
But to make this more balanced, this thread should be in the rumours section, since there is not much to verify it right now. Just the very suspiciuos unreleased press release...

The info on the first post is a draft which I created from the K800i/W900i announcements.
I asked axxxr if it would be a good idea to post and he did.
Sorry to have let it go on so long but it was hard to stop. Many older members figured straight away and I presumed it would be immediately discredited - as it was posted in the General and not the Sony Ericsson or Rumours section.
Sorry for the deceit and I hope I haven't compromised the Boards reputation too much letting this farce go on so long.
I haven't spoken to axxxr yet, hopefully he will confirm the above.
