Saw you screenshot. But isn't the world generic 1 cda for P990 supposed to be CDA162007/1 as opposed to CDA162011/1 I saw in the screenshot?

I couldn't find out how to do that either!

It must be really easy.... does anyone know?

Just for your info, I didn't bother flashing the internal drive and the update worked fine.... Sooooooooo much better with World Generic 1 rather than rubbish vodafone!!!

P990 In Flip Mode= >*W950= Jog dial up*jog dial down x2*jog dial down*

Can't commet on M600 although i presume it is the same as W950, and i am not sure of P990i without flip!

ah, ok, I thought I was going mad not being able to see it in the menus...

As it happens, I have a p990 with flip off, and unfortunately, seemed to have misplaced the flip!!!!

I'd be interested to know how to do it in flip off mode, although, I'm certainly in no rush

Jog dial up*jog dial down x2*jog dial down*

Its bloody obvious!!!! use the virtual phone keypad!

so P990i without flip, go into virtual phone keypad jogdialup*jogdialdownx2*jogdialdown*!!

I followed all the instruction in this thread and the cda change and update went ok on my p990, so thanks all!
However for some reason i cant back up or restore data to the phone.
Also if i try to update it again it goes through all the stages and when it gets ot the bit where it says do not touch the phone it stay on it for around 10 seconds and then goes back to the start.
Any ideas?
