There's very little difference between Walkman 3 and 2. One of the main differences on W3 is that it can be used in landscape mode (on the W910i).
The camera on the W580i is ok. I've not really noticed much difference between it and my old W810i which of course had the advantage of auto focus. However, I haven't taken a huge number of pictures to make a good comparison, but its certainly ok for snap shots.

I was just a little worried that when some of the themes are being used, the phone vibrates when moving from one menu button to the next ie: mail to walkman function

Yes there is a notable difference in battery life with and without the step count being on.

How are you favoring this phone? I still kinda like it because I know I'll be using the step function with the running app. Going to get in shape this fall - I hate running but will need to do it.
Any word on if the BLACK walkman model will show up shortly?

The phone is designed to vibrate when navigating between menus. Its part of the flash themes.

It's already available...15k pesos...i'm waiting till december for the launch of w910i and w960i which will make the w580i cost less harhar!
