if anyone is wondering how to do this then all you have to do is delete the following file and folder:

\\tpa\\preset\\custom\\DESKTOP_HOOK_1.itm
\\tpa\\preset\\system\\custmenu\\DESKTOP_HOOK_1

and then the icon can be replaced

p.s. is there anyway to backup files? all files save with 0 bytes from far...

links have been posted several times to zipped up directories of ALL the files from the K800 and K810 FS. If you want any K800 or K810 files just dowload the relevant zippped up file system. The links are in THIS THREAD! Please read the thread, you will learn a lot plus find valuable links.

I personally won't be providing any more links to individual files from the file system. I strongly recommend anyone playing with xs++ or FAR should download these zipped directories so that you have copies of ALL the FS files. The only files not included in the zip file are menu.ml and the contents of the "custom" foleder, but there are also links to both K810 and K800 default menu.ml files. The Custom folder is available in the link I provided pages back for custom packs (custom packs onclude the customisation of various brands and operators)

ALSO, people are STILL asking about how to restore a menu to default. I am NOT going to answer this question anymore, it has been answered so many times in this thread.

ALSO, YOU CANNOT BACKUP FS FILES FROM YOUR K800/K810!! YOU WILL get ZERO byte files when you use FAR. (My Phone Explorer is an excellent utility for backing up contacts etc, but it cannot access the internal file system that we use xs++ or far to access.)

Here is my first attempt at making a menu for K810i.
It's based on the T650i underwater menu & theme.

Pack includes
12 animations
Menu.ml
underwater theme
Original K810i Menu.ml is included too, just incase you want to go back to the original menu.

How did you do this? Id like to have the K750 animated 'sending message' icon. The static image is too flat for me. do you also have animated k750 sending message icon that is resized for the k800i.? TIA.
