I have one more problem which i asked many times here.
Its OFF TOPIC.

Actually i get Broken images



I Was told that RAM was not suffecient due to usage of ELFs.

it was recently 6.5Mb.

But now I dont use ELFs so not sure how much HEAP i have .

Now i Disabled all the Daemons and elfs from Auto Running.

I'm Not using any ELF for Few days now.

Even Now i get the Broken Images. I dont have Photos in the Album either

Even the THEMES are saying that they are corrupted, Only after several RESTARTS i'm able to succesfully apply any THEME

Help Please.

This is not fair !!

I have loads of them.

You said to make a list of whats installed. So from then on i'm making a note of it. But i already had many patches installed

Do you guess that the best thing I do is a complete reflash ??

Or just the MAIN ?? (i never did a complete FLASH so i dont know the difference:) )

As an experiment u could try this...

Flash main and ur Qapatch procedure. Then patch just the elf loader and then run BookManager elf and see what ur heap is then. My guess it will be about 8mb or so.

I too get problems like this and i must admit i dont quite understand why sometimes i have heap as low as 5mb and no broken images. And yet other times its 7mb with broken images!

One Stupid doubt:

If there are two VKP patches.

Is it possible to make a single patch by combining the TWO ??

I mean just copy and paste the two patch data in one file with extension ".VKP" ??

Yes its possible. If the patch uses the base address ie +44140000 (for DB2020) in the patch then make sure there is only one instance of it in the combined patch. So it should be at the start and nowhere else in the patch.

For example the above patch doesnot have the address you mentioned. So can this be added to another patch ??

Well thank you...

So you meant to say that I can combine all the VKP patches to ONE patch.
Only thing to make sure is that the ADDRESS does not repeat it self again.

Right ?

And Does the "YES" you said applies to both my questions above ??
