Sorry guys haven't been following the thread. Just wondering if the Jailbreak for 3G S for windows is available now? I find my iPhone extremely boring without the jailbreak therefore I'm still using the 2nd gen iPhone since it has all the apps. I really want to jailbreak my 3g s ASAP!!

Right I've got a few more niggles that have cropped up!!!
Can you turn off the network lost pop up? A lot of my mates live in villages with little to no signal and they have installed signal blockers (aparently, there isn't any signal in my classroom anyway) at college so it gets rather irritating!
Also RE bluetooth. My car headunit is a BT handsfree and A2DP compatible device. It used to work in the following way (this is with recent A2DP compatible Sony Ericssons):
Turn the ignition on and the phone auto connects
If a call comes in answer it on the headunit or phone and it will come through the car speakers.
Go to BT audio as the source (on headunit) and press pause twice (so pause then play) and it will play from wherever it was last.
Now with the iPhone 3G S
Turn the ignition on and the phone auto connects
If a call comes in answer it on the headunit and nothing happens. Answer on the phone and it will come through the phones speakers. You have to tap audio something or other and select the BT device.
Go to BT audio as the source (on headunit) and press pause twice (so pause then play) and nothing happens. You have to start the ipod and play your music from the phone. NONE of the controls on the headunit work with the phone. Next, back, play, pause nothing!
As you can imagine the headunit wasn't massively cheap so it's quite irritating!!! Along with the fact that handsfree is no longer handsfree! You have to do most on the phone!

What's the battery life been like for you guys? Especially for those of you coming from a 3G... much improvement or much of a muchness?

the first few days it wasn't good, but that was probably a mixture of me using it more heavily and it being a new battery
it seems to have settled down now and is definitly giving more life than the 3G, but I wouldn't yet say the difference is significant

Well anything is better than nothing! I guess with the increased processing power the battery needs to be that bit better than the last one.
It'd be interesting to see some comparison camera shots of the 3GS and 3G also

Phone Arena review of this phone was not so keen on it. They also said call quality was awful

here is their review for anyone who wants a read. They gave it 8.5 out of 10
Can't say I've had any call quality issues, or lost/dropped calls. I know some of their reviews are done in US and some in Europe so I wonder if this was reviewed on AT&T which is probably the most hated network in the world?
I had noticed on occassion that it is sometimes a bit quieter than I remembered the 3G to be during calls
