Maybe this is the problem, but as far as I know Opera Mini 5 doesn't have a built in downloader at all (like Om 4.2 where you can click save). Because the normal unmodded one also uses the built in browser to download, and all my permissions are on "always allow".

That right, when you download with Opera Mini 5, it always opens the default browser and downloads - Therefore it isn't free.

Ok guys, here's my dilemma:
On one hand, I can browse free on my Vodacom sim, all thanks to you guys, but I can't use mxit free on it.
On the other hand, I use mxit free on my Cell C sim, but I can't browse free on it. I was browsing/downloading free on Cell C when I had only R0.01 on it, but they started deducting some cents (after I recharged) whenever I browse now. I have tried all the Cell C tricks here, same thing (still have some rands on the sim).
Any ideas guys?

@anning
I use Nokia 6680 (s60) and I've got OM mods 2.06, 3.0, 4.2 (multihandler), 5.0b (multihandler) and OM 8.65.

@douzy, to browse free on cell c, use the exact same settings as you did for vodacom, but replace "live.vodafone.com" with "mxit.co.za"

It should work!

@douzy

Or if you prefer vodacom (like me), you can just use the handler mod of Mxit with a vodacom front query (like the T9space one).

Here is Mxit handler: http://www.4shared.com/file/1[....]b9e85b4e/MXIT_592_Handler.html

Pass: www.antofungky.blogspot.com

@All

Here is a good place to get all the handler mods: http://antofungky.blogspot.com

The password for all the RARs is : www.antofungky.blogspot.com

Enjoy!

@sitnet
Thanks a lot, but the mxit handler is so slow. It takes like 2mins to send or retrieve a msg. Could it be the t9space server? Even tried gowingo, same thing.

@anningg
Thanks a lot for the OM8.6 trick, but I still get charged, even when it hardly loads beyond the glype proxy homepage.

Once again, thanks guyz!

Yes it is unfortunately the server. There's not much you can do to improve this. The only solution I can think of is getting a dual sim phone, but that is probably ot of the question in any way. I will try to find some more servers (which I am really struggling with), and if I get good ones I will let you know.

t9space is a fairly okay server - you get speeds of up to 60kbps, but a download limit of 30mb

the other proxies (posted by sitnet) you get no limit, but speeds are kind of slow, only reaching around 30kbps-40kbps (45kbps if you're lucky)

Lets try to find a quicker server!
