Hi friends,
I have a problem because I flashed my X10i with a X10a firmware accidentally. Now I want to go back to a X10i firmware with the tutorial but SEUS shows me no install button.
I've also try
this tutorial with no success.
Can anybody help me please?
Thank you in advance.
Edit:
I've try it again and it works...now I have my X10i again
Thanks for this tutorial.

Dear All and in particular AndyD, Lollylost and Xperiaman: Thank you very, very much. I was a complete noob to debranding a handset and couldn't afford to screw this up but the tutorial here made life very easy indeed. As well as very quick, I spent almost as long watching search not find the files, as the whole process took, until I stumble upon this nugget on XDA:
"on XP it's not on programdata.C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\Sony Ericsson\\SEMC OMSI
Module\\db" Once that was copied into the Run dialog box, I was a free man in no time.

The only slight downer being that on returning homeI think the iMac knew I had been disloyal, as I had my first crash ever, and completely lost the utilities including Bluetooth File Exchange. Mercifully all fully restored now though.
Thanks again guys and to anyone being as indecisive as I was, it's highly recommended, everything seems better in 016, the keyboard and the screen in general seems more responsive, the call quality is definitely greatly improved and you can now add the direct dial option as a shortcut, effectively giving you speed dials back. Also forgot to say that I was still able to install both Orange Your Account and Film Wednesdays from the market, as I know that some of the Rogers users were saying not being able to do this kind of thing might prevent them upping to 016.
Great work all of you that made this happen. Cheers.

@Saltorio
Have just checked the market and both free and paid versions are present here in the UK.

Thanks Trickois. So it seems the issue is with the currently available unbranded X10a firmwares.

Good day fellas,
Just like everyone else, i got the X10 and tried to unbrand it, here's my experience results and issue that need resolving
I ran the BR001 unbranding on my phone and that worked, except no 3G which also means no data, internet, mms etc...
so i tried restoring again to get the filenames to replace with the Unbranded AR014 one and see if that would get me 3G back but at least it'd be unbranded.
that's where I'm getting an issue.
before it downloaded 3 files (keep in mind size is approx.)
1) 57KB file
2) 16MB file
3) 112MB file
Now since the unbranding, it only downloads two files (the 16MB and 112MB, no more 57KB)
the 57KB file is missing and the phone won't go through the repair process, says it failed (phone still works, thank God).
Since i don't know what's contained in the 57KB file, i dunno if i should leave it to what it was called (original branded name) and put in the folder with 2 newly renamed files.
2 QUESTIONS for fellow owners:
1) I'm ROGERS network (Canada), has any1 been able to downgrade to AR014 (or back to original) or repair the BR001?
2) Any1 on the ROGERS network updated to BR001 and still has 3G access?
if so maybe someone can help me with the naming.
I'm reluctant to try things because 2 days ago, i had a previous X10 and had updated to unbranded AR014, then wanted to go to BR001 and the upgrade failed and the phone wouldn't boot anymore (exclamation mark with phone pic). Since the phone has been no older than a week i was able to take it back to the store and have it replaced with a new one. I still have a few days left of my initial 15 days so i can probably have it swapped again, but I'd rather not, wouldn't want the sales guy refusing the exchange blaming it on me or something.
Thank you for all the input and all the info that has been provided so far.

I'm running R1FB001 and it seems be slightly better in battery life... I'm down to 70% from 9am to 1pm today.
Nothing else major that i've noticed...
I'm using a rogers x10.... and had no issues using pc companion to repair and unbrand

I am from Hong Kong with the X10i unbranded firmware R1FA014
The difference in performance alone (general, not only related to Timescape and Mediascape which I find slightly useless) after going to R1FB001,albeit x10a, is phenomenal!
I don't care that I won't get official updates from SEUS as long the backdoor methods continue to work.
Thanks to those who made R1FB001 available!
