How is the sound when it's in the dock? Are the stereo speakers muffled?
There are no speakers in the dock.
I haven't plugged the jack to my speakers
Have just installed Backstab. It is by far the best game until now on the Play.
Visually it's great. Playing it is another story as I find it difficult to use the analog touchpads...
But I recommend it if you like this type of games!
All downloaded games get listed in the Xperia Play games center.
Strangely, Backstab is listed also in "Playstation Pocket" along with playstation 1 games...

@sambouka
No I mean, the speakers on the Play are on the bottom / rear of the phone when the phone is horizontal.
Is the sound still audible when the phone is placed in the dock?
Thanks
Found the dock for £18 on
Amazon.

@goldenface, you're right they're on the bottom / rear
I have just tested the sound: something strange happens.
when you plug the Play, the sound kind of shifts to up/rear
So it is still very good!
I know it's weird, can someone confirm here??

Full brightness
3G on
4 days and 5 hours standby time (still got 6 %)
3 hours of display usage (about an hour playing, 30 minutes listening to music)
9 hours of Wifi (surfing the web, downloading games, more then 1.5 Gb)
30 minutes talk time
This phone is really WOW !

I'm really impressed, the gamepad gives it such a wow factor and the game controls are great.
It's just so nice playing games without having to touch the screen. One of the issues with gaming on the X10 was you had to switch the phone screen off after a while in order to wipe the smudges off as the screen became more and more unresponsive.
Just downloading Asphalt 6 which I can't wait to have a go of.
I also can't believe how quick Timescape is, it's lightening quick on the Play.

Today I played with the Play for like 15 minutes.. For the second time as well.. First time, a week ago, I couldn't try any games..
Played Fifa and that Galaxy game I forgot what's it called..
Anyway, I was simply blown away! If this can't get positive reviews and considered the ultimate gaming phone, I don't know what would be!!
This is nor an N-Gage!! N-Gage failed because of its hardware, this is all about hardware!
Really excellent gaming pad!!
All it needs is the Playstation exclusive package SE promised of, and this will the thing to get for gamers!
Even now, with the games available on the Android Market, playing most of these games with that game pad is a whole different experience!
I really can't get it why the reviews have been negative so far..
It really shows what low attitude those assumingly professional reviewers are at!!
I'm not a gamer at all.. And won't even consider this device, but I know for certain that SE did one excellent job!

It's a unique device and I don't understand why reviewers compare it with other very different phones when they are completely different experiences.
Anyway, Asphalt 6 is magical and the graphics, compared to gaming on the X10, is a huge step up. The build quality is solid. My gamepad is taking a right beating.
