Here one from the beach
and this one showing the relatively weak DR of the 808 at times.. still not sure what the difference between highlight clipping and weak DR is, but this is one or the other

More than a year and the resolved detail on this thing still amazes me..
Took this yesterday
got home and took a look at it.. those tiny little branches are really tricky to capture in terms of detail, but look at it..

somewhere I remember seeing you post about custom firmware for the 808... now that even my extended warranty is over, i'd like to look into that a bit... any pointers as to which version is best?

Sure thing man..
This is the one I am using and its the best one I've used so far. Very stable on AT&T after you install the 3g update. If you don't have the sis file let me know, I have it on my PC.
